Our Impact

Jim Horne has dedicated his retirement of 30 years to teaching golf fundamentals and etiquette to minority youth at no cost to their family. His foundation has provided golf lessons and equipment, exposure to competitive tournaments, and scholarships. He has also assisted his most promising students in playing golf competitively with several students participating at the collegiate level.

Buffalo Urban League

Humanitarian Award

On November 18th 2017, the Buffalo Urban League celebrated it’s 90th anniversary where Jim Horne received a prestigious humanitarian award that honors the legacy of two civil rights icons, William L. Evans and Whitney M. Young. These men exemplified leadership and commitment to uplift those who were voiceless, aggressively working for equitable access to socioeconomic opportunity for the historically disenfranchised. The award was presented by Mrs. Brenda McDuffy, the current Executive Director of the Buffalo Urban League.
